We are pleased to announce that the 19th International Conference "Man and Working Environment" with the main topic Оccupational and Environmental Safety Engineering & Management (OESEM) will be organized by the Faculty of Occupational Safety, University of Niš in partnership with Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto , Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Slavonski Brod, and Faculty of Management, University of Primorska .
The OESEM Conference will be held online , from November 24-25, 2022.
Conference aim
Rapid technological change is essential for the growth and development of humanity; however, it is threatening all three pillars of sustainable development. New risks and hazards are emerging in ways that had not been anticipated before. Global interconnectedness and consumer needs, growing world population, climate changes, global warming, as well as air, water and soil pollution require the researchers to revisit the issues of environmental safety.
When it comes to the safety of the workplace environment, industry and safety specialists are faced with numerous challenges – they need to comply with regulations and respond appropriately when incidents do occur, but also foster a strong and positive safety culture. The experience of a global pandemic has also shown us that it is time to re-examine new models and research approaches to safety science and safety engineering.
This Conference provides a unique platform for scholars, scientists, engineers, researchers and professionals to exchange ideas and views, and present advances and their findings in the field of оccupational and environmental safety engineering & management.
Conference themes
We welcome papers that consider the theme of Оccupational and Environmental Safety Engineering & Management from a wide variety of perspectives. Areas that the authors might explore, but are not limited to, include:

The official language of the Conference is English. The authors are invited to submit their abstracts using our [ http://160.99.81.2:83/Konferencija_Registracija/KonferencijaRegistracija | online registration form ] . Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific/Programme Committee and the authors will be informed via email about their status. One author is allowed to submit two conference papers, but only one as the first author.

Conference Fees
Registration fee covers attendance in conference sessions, Conference Proceedings and Certificate of Attendance. The registration fee for participants from Serbia is 3.000 RSD , while registration fee for international participants is 30 EUR/USD . Papers accepted for OESEM Conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
